Canada announces sending military equipment to Ukraine

Canadian Defense Minister Anita Anand announced Saturday evening the dispatch of military equipment currently on its way to Ukraine.
The Canadian minister mentioned - in a tweet on the microblogging site (Twitter) - that this equipment comes as part of supporting Kyiv and that Ottawa will stand by Ukraine as long as it takes." According to the British (Sky News) network, in its English broadcast.
Canada had provided - in recent months - other assistance to Ukraine, and also imposed sanctions on Russia.
