New York State Police announce 9 people injured in a shooting at a shopping center in Buffalo city

The police say the suspect is in custody after shooting several people in a grocery store in Buffalo, New York, and details about their condition are not immediately available.

Meanwhile, New York Governor Kathy Hochul says state officials have offered assistance to local authorities.

Reports from there indicate that several people were injured in a mass shooting at Tops Markets on Jefferson Avenue, and the shooter was arrested and is in custody, according to Buffalo police.
