US President Joe Biden, who arrived in the occupied territories today on a solidarity visit for the occupying entity, stated that based on what he saw, the explosion at the Baptist hospital in Gaza was caused by "the other side," seemingly referring to the Palestinian "Islamic Jihad" movement.
This visit from Biden comes on the heels of the martyrdom of hundreds of people in the bombing of the Baptist hospital in the Gaza Strip, after which Biden expressed his "deep sadness" over this tragedy.
The occupying army had accused the Palestinian "Islamic Jihad" movement of being responsible for the bombing of the Baptist hospital in Gaza.
Avichai Adraee, the spokesperson for the occupying army, also stated in a post on his official account on the social media platform "X" that "after analyzing the operational systems in the defense army, the enemy in Gaza launched a dense barrage of rockets towards Israel that passed near the Baptist hospital at the moment it was hit."
For its part, the Islamic Jihad movement denied the "lies and false accusations" directed at it by the Zionist occupying army, which blamed it for a rocket attack that targeted the hospital and led to over 500 martyrs, affirming that the occupying entity is attempting to "absolve itself of responsibility for the brutal massacre."
The movement stated in a statement that "as is customary in fabricating lies, the Zionist enemy is desperately trying to evade its responsibility for the brutal massacre it committed by bombing the hospital (…) and directing accusations towards the Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine."
