U.S. authorities announced that at least two people were killed and 18 others were injured in a confrontation at a bar in Florida during a "Halloween" event.
The fighting broke out between two groups at around 3 AM on Sunday, when the bars were open in Ybor City, a neighborhood in Tampa, Florida, according to Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw.
Bercaw also stated at a press conference that hundreds were near the scene when the gunfire began. The condition of the injured was not immediately known, while one suspect, a man, surrendered to the police.
Authorities believe that at least two shooters were involved in the incident. However, only one person is currently in custody.
