Air Canada announced the return of its flights to Egypt after Air Canada announced the resumption of direct flights to Cairo Airport, between Montreal and Cairo, linking Montreal and Cairo with the scheduled service after a recent suspension period.

Air Canada resumed its seasonal flights non-stop between Cairo International Airport and its hub in Montreal, operating three times a week during the peak summer until October 27, 2023. Air Canada is the only airline in North America operating from Egypt.
The route will be operated by Air Canada flights from Cairo to Montreal with the latest model of Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft accommodating 255 passengers, in addition to the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner accommodating 298 passengers.
The regional director of Air Canada in Switzerland and North Africa, Mehdi Sintissi, said: We are pleased to announce the return of our continuous services from Cairo to Montreal... At Air Canada, we are proud to be the only airline in North America operating from Egypt, offering our customers a direct link to Canada, along with convenient travel options across North America. We look forward to welcoming our customers on board as they rediscover the charms of Canada. According to local sources.
