Alberta added 62 COVID-19 deaths over seven days as hospitalizations continued to rise slightly.
The province's average positivity rate was 25.7 percent after adding 6,569 PCR test cases between April 19-25.
There are 1,220 Albertans with COVID-19 in hospital, including 47 in intensive care. Health Minister Jason Copping told reporters on Wednesday, "I am pleased to report that we are still seeing signs of a slowdown in virus transmission in Alberta."
