Toronto: Police search for a man carrying a gun and close a school

The high school in the Oakville area was closed after police received a report of a man carrying a gun in the area this afternoon, Tuesday.

The Halton Regional Police said that White Oaks High School is currently closed.

Police say other schools in the area will stop operating until the situation is secured soon.

Police urge people to avoid the area, and there is a heavy police presence in the area.

The police are now searching for a man wearing a blue and white shirt, black shorts, and a backpack.
