The British newspaper "The Guardian" revealed that the British Crown Prince Prince Charles received bags containing three million euros (2.6 million pounds sterling) from the former Qatari Prime Minister Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani.
These funds were handed over to the Prince of Wales in several meetings in 2015, and according to the report, part of the amount was received by Prince Charles from the Qatari official during a private meeting with Bin Hashem at the royal palace - "Clarence House".
The spokesperson for "Clarence House" said that as soon as Prince Charles received the money, he handed it over to one of his charitable organizations and all the correct procedures were carried out during the delivery of these funds. However, the fact that this information was not announced to the public at the time sparked criticism in Britain. The former Qatari Prime Minister, who purchased a large number of properties in Britain, did not comment on the publication.
