Under the title "May God protect Morocco and its people from all evil," Engineer Zouhair Chaara, the editor-in-chief, expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Kingdom of Morocco for the victims of the devastating earthquakes. This was stated in a message he sent to His Majesty King Mohammed VI's representative in Canada, Ambassador Souria Othmani, in which he said, "On my own behalf and on behalf of the editorial team of Arab Canada News, we express our deepest condolences and sincerest sympathies to Morocco, the families of the victims, and the dear Moroccan people for the victims of the earthquakes that struck the Kingdom of Morocco, which resulted in hundreds of casualties and injuries."

Ambassador Othmani, in turn, appreciated this noble humanitarian initiative from the editorial team of Arab Canada News and thanked Editor-in-Chief Eng. Zouhair Chaara, praising the active role that Arab Canada News plays in highlighting all that concerns the Arab communities abroad and keeping them directly informed about what is happening in their home countries.

In this great affliction, Editor-in-Chief Eng. Zouhair Chaara felt that there must be a significant show of solidarity with Morocco and the families of the victims by issuing a call to charitable associations to begin opening the doors for immediate donations from members of the Arab communities in order to provide all necessary support that could alleviate the effects of these devastating earthquakes.

On this occasion, Editor-in-Chief Eng. Zouhair Chaara calls for an immediate expression of solidarity and effective support for our brothers from the Moroccan Canadian community who are present in Morocco or who have family and relatives there who may have been harmed as a result of these devastating earthquakes.
