Canada has advised its citizens in a statement released shortly ago not to travel to Lebanon unless absolutely necessary.
The Canadian government stated via its travel advice account on the X platform (formerly Twitter), “Due to an unpredictable security situation, we now advise against non-essential travel to Lebanon.” It added, “If you are there, make sure your travel documents are up to date and that you carry identification at all times.”
