A report issued by DesRosiers Automotive Consultants stated that car sales in November increased by 4.1 percent compared to last year.
The company also estimated the sale of 114,966 light vehicles last month, with the result being higher than 110,448 in November 2021.
However, the Development Assistance Committee noted that total sales reached 143,315 in November 2019 before the pandemic struck.
Also, Andrew King, managing partner at DAC, stated that year-to-date sales reached 1.38 million units, making it likely that 2022 sales will end the year below 1.5 million units.
King also said that if this happens, it would be the first year the market falls below this threshold since 2009.
