Renald Pedros, the head coach of the Morocco women's national team, announced the starting lineup that will face France in a very difficult task today, Tuesday, in the Round of 16 of the 2023 Women's World Cup currently taking place in New Zealand and Australia.
The starting lineup for the Morocco women's team against France is as follows:
Goalkeeper: Khadija Ramichi.
Defenders: Hanane Ait El Haj - Zainab Radwani - Nuhaila Benzina - Nasreen Al-Shad.
Midfielders: Ghazlan Al-Shabek - Nahlah Al-Naqqash - Sakina Ozrawi.
Forwards: Ibtissam Guereidi - Fatima Teknaout - Anissa Lahmari.
The Atlas Lionesses achieved a football miracle; after losing 6-0 to Germany in the opener, they secured victories against South Korea and Colombia, making the Moroccan team the first Arab team in history to reach the Round of 16 in the World Cup, and they joined two other African teams, Nigeria and South Africa, which have been eliminated from the competition.
