The City of Ottawa announces the closure of some parts of Highway 417 starting from Friday until Monday, stating in a statement that Highway 417 and selected exits in both directions between Woodroffe Avenue and Greenbank Road will be closed starting Friday, July 28 at 11 PM until Monday, July 31 at 5 AM.

The following exits will also be closed: exits heading east from Richmond Road

Exits heading east from Pinecrest Road, the eastern exit heading to Woodroffe Avenue, the westbound ramp from Maitland Avenue, the westbound ramp from Woodroffe Avenue heading to Pinecrest Road.

Drivers will need to follow the signed detours:

Westbound detour exit from Highway 417 at Woodroffe Avenue

The exit turning right onto Woodroffe Avenue

The exit turning left onto Carling Avenue, the exit turning left at Richmond Road

For the exit turning left at Pinecrest Road, the vehicle turns right to onramp to re-enter Highway 417 or exit from Highway 417 at Woodroffe Avenue

The exit turning right onto Woodroffe Avenue, and it is possible to turn left onto Carling Avenue.

Finally, it is possible to turn left at Richmond Road, turn right to onramp to re-enter Highway 417
