Public Health in Ottawa reported 19 hospital admissions due to the virus today, and two people in the intensive care unit, with no new deaths occurring on April 5.

Ontario reported 1,091 people in hospital with COVID-19 on April 5, an increase of nearly 40 percent from a week ago.
