The Sudanese army announced the death of 9 people, including 4 military personnel, as a result of a civilian plane crash after taking off from Port Sudan Airport.
According to the Sudanese newspaper "Al-Tayar," a military transport plane belonging to the Sudanese army crashed shortly after taking off from Port Sudan International Airport due to a technical malfunction on Sunday evening.
The newspaper confirmed that everyone on board the plane died, except for one child who survived the incident, and civil defense is now attempting to extinguish the fire resulting from the accident.
