Toronto Pearson International Airport said that normal wait times have returned after the network outage before the long weekend today, Friday.
Katsa said in a social media post, "The network outage caused longer than usual wait times, your patience is appreciated."
Less than an hour later, Pearson said that the lines have improved, but passengers should be aware that wait times "wax and wane throughout the morning."
Pearson told CTV News, "Things are currently going well at the airport with normal wait times in T1 across the border, we are working with the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority to resolve their outage, but at this stage it has minimal impact on airport operations."
The agency stated that the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority is working to resolve the issue "as quickly as possible."
