The police detain six people following reports of a shooting in Toronto and Mississauga on Sunday morning.
In a tweet this morning, Peel Regional Police said they responded to reports of a shooting outside a nightclub at approximately 2:54 AM in the area of Eglinton Avenue East and Dixie Road in Mississauga.
Peel Police said there were no reports of injuries and the suspects fled the scene in a car that was eventually stopped by police on Highway 403.
The police said officers arrested three men.
Meanwhile, at approximately 7:47 AM, Toronto Police responded to gunfire sounds in the area of Parliament Street and east of Dundas Street.
In a separate tweet, the police said there were no injuries resulting from the shooting and that they found a suspicious vehicle.
Toronto Police said they arrested three people and seized a firearm.
