During the inauguration of the humanitarian conference on Gaza in Paris, French President Emmanuel Macron announced on Thursday that France will allocate an additional 80 million euros for humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people, bringing the total for this year to 100 million euros.
For his part, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry condemned the international silence regarding violations of international humanitarian law committed by the Zionist entity in the Palestinian territories during the conference.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said that "what the occupation government is doing goes beyond the right to self-defense," denouncing a "shaking" of the "global conscience" and affirming that Cairo rejects any attempt to displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
Jan Egeland, Secretary General of the Norwegian Refugee Council, also considered before the conference that an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip is very necessary.
The head of Doctors Without Borders, Isabelle Defourny, described what the Zionist entity claims to be safe areas in the southern Gaza Strip as "false areas."
