Reports revealed today, Thursday, about Kylian Mbappé's final stance regarding leaving Paris Saint-Germain during the current summer transfer window, after he refused to activate the option to extend his contract with the Parisian team until the summer of 2025, entering the final season of his contract.

Paris Saint-Germain refuses to allow Mbappé to continue without extending his contract, as they wish to sell him if he maintains his position.

The French newspaper Le Parisien confirmed that Mbappé told Qatari Nasser Al-Khelaifi that he will remain at Paris Saint-Germain this season and will not leave for Real Madrid. The French newspaper explained that Mbappé is determined to stay with the team in the final season of his contract, rejecting the idea of being sold to any clubs including Real Madrid this summer.

It added that Paris Saint-Germain made it clear to Mbappé that he would be deprived of playing this season if he stuck to his decision.

The report emphasized that Mbappé's decision is final and irreversible, so he will not join Real Madrid in 2023, but it is expected that he will leave Paris for free next summer.

Mbappé joined Paris Saint-Germain on loan from Monaco in the summer of 2017 before the deal was made permanent a year later for €180 million.
