The head of the Israeli Mossad, David Barnea, stated that the agency has thwarted 27 Iranian plans to carry out attacks against Israelis and Israeli targets around the world.

Barnea's remarks came during his participation on Sunday in the opening of a conference organized by Reichman University in Herzliya on terrorism, during which he issued a series of threats including targeting Iranian leaders deep within Iran and in the heart of Tehran.

The head of the Mossad threatened officials in Iran, stating, "It is time to impose a cost on Iran in a different way."

He added, "Harming Israelis and Jews in any way, either through proxies or with Iranian weapons that will be introduced into Israel, will lead to action against the Iranians, and I mean it... this cost will be imposed deep within Iran, even in the heart of Tehran."

The head of the Mossad stated that they are "a secret intelligence organization for a democratic Jewish state that has operated since the day it was established with clear values and will continue to do so in the future."

Barnea claimed in his remarks that "Iran intended to sell to Russia not only drones but also short-range and long-range missiles, alleging that the deal has been thwarted."

He also asserted "that Iran has the intention to sell more weapons to Russia."

It is worth noting that Moscow has repeatedly and categorically denied allegations of Russian forces using Iranian drones in Ukraine, asserting that these accusations are baseless.
