An Iranian official issued a warning against any military attack on the country's nuclear facilities, saying it would be met with a broad and unprecedented response.

The Iranian official confirmed, in statements to Al Jazeera channel, that "uranium enrichment in Iran is done at 60%, and Israel's statements are just incitement and propaganda," pointing out that "there is no place in our military doctrine for nuclear weapons, nor any validity to any accusations against us."

He indicated that "Israel failed against the Palestinian resistance and seeks to justify that by waging a war against Iran," explaining that "Iranian naval forces and warships move in navigation routes according to international laws, and Tehran continues to develop its military capabilities in all fields, which is what worries Israel," according to his expression.

Nuclear Weapon in Iran

Yoav Gallant, the Israeli Defense Minister, said on Monday evening that "all options will be on the table to prevent Iran from possessing nuclear weapons."

Gallant pointed out, in statements reported by the Hebrew newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth," that if Iran increased uranium enrichment to 90%, "there will be consequences for the Middle East," and he also accused Iran of waging a war of attrition against Israel through its agents near the borders.

He continued: "We are doubling our attacks to prevent Iran's attempts to militarily establish itself in Syria," pointing out that "Syria's return to the Arab League does not represent any development for us, as long as it continues to allow Iran's agents to operate on its soil."

American Proposal

The administration of US President Joe Biden had proposed to Israel a few weeks ago to start implementing "joint military planning" regarding Iran.

The Hebrew site Walla reported, quoting three senior American and Israeli officials, that this unprecedented proposal could significantly develop military cooperation between Israel and the United States.

According to the site, they view the American proposal with suspicion and concern in Israel, fearing that it aims to "tie Israel's hands" in military operations against Iran, especially concerning nuclear facilities.

A senior American official clarified that the proposal "does not mean joint planning for an American-Israeli attack on the Iranian nuclear program."

Israeli Concerns

White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan is working to calm Israel's concerns in a speech he gave two weeks ago at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.

Sullivan continued: "We made it clear to Iran that we will never allow it to possess nuclear weapons. And as President Biden has said more than once - actions will be taken to support these statements - which include recognizing Israel's freedom to act."
