The Houthis announced on Saturday evening the suspension of ballistic missile and drone attacks targeting Saudi Arabia for three days.

The Chairman of the Supreme Political Council in Sana'a, Mahdi al-Mashat, stated that all operations targeting Saudi Arabia by land, sea, and air will be suspended for three days.

Al-Mashat confirmed in statements in Sana'a on the seventh anniversary of the war the suspension of offensive operations on the Marib front and other fronts.

Al-Mashat said: "We affirm our readiness to turn this announcement into a final and firm commitment if Saudi Arabia commits to ending the siege and completely stopping its raids on Yemen."

He added that they are ready to turn the cessation of confrontations into a final commitment if Riyadh announces the withdrawal of all foreign forces from Yemen and its waters and stops supporting its local militias.

He explained that the suspension of offensive operations includes the Marib front and reiterates what was included in the initiative of the leader of the "Ansar Allah" Houthi group in Yemen, Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, pointing out that they are awaiting a positive response to it, calling on the coalition to stop all practices that hinder peace.

The Chairman of the Supreme Political Council renewed the group's full readiness to release all coalition prisoners, including the brother of President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi and militia prisoners from local and other nationalities, in exchange for the full release of all their prisoners.

Al-Mashat called on the UN envoy to arrange procedures and facilitate the exchange of lists and executive agreements in full or in batches.

The Houthi official stated, "We see in the siege, the detention of fuel ships, and depriving the people of their simplest humanitarian rights, acts that contradict the requirements of peace and confidence-building, and we consider the siege a direct cause for prolonging the war and obstructing peace, for which the international community and the aggression coalition bear responsibility."

He added, saying, "We call on everyone to stop methods that do not serve peace and to focus on logical and practical approaches to making peace."

Al-Mashat emphasized that the eighth year of the Yemeni people's steadfastness will be full of surprises, transformations, and qualitative defensive actions.

He warned in this context against the danger of undermining or harming the steadfastness, considering it the honor of Yemen that they will neither give up nor neglect to preserve and protect.
