Heavy rain with the possibility of flooding in some areas

Ottawa - The forecasts indicate heavy rainfall.

According to Environment Canada, Tuesday is expected to be cloudy with showers. Rainfall amounts ranging from 25 to 40 mm in the afternoon may cause some flooding in low-lying areas.

Overnight, the rain is expected to be heavy at times and end before morning.

Wednesday will be cloudy with winds. High of 12 degrees Celsius.

Thursday is also expected to be cloudy with a chance of rain, with a high of 6 degrees Celsius.

The weather observatory states that weather disturbances may continue until the end of the week with winds ranging from moderate to strong along with continued rainfall.
