A cargo ship loaded with grain collided today, Friday, with a cargo ship off the Turkish coast.
Both ships were damaged, and the extent of the damage caused by the incident is currently being assessed.
The "Novosti" agency also reported that the incident occurred in the Sea of Marmara, and that one of the ships was heading from Ukraine to Spain and the other from Russia to Israel.
For its part, the Russian sailors' union announced that the ship that left Russia was carrying 25,000 tons of grain, and that there are no Russian citizens among its crew and no environmental damage has been reported as a result of the incident.
