Gasoline prices jumped overnight in some cities across Canada, in many cases by about ten cents per liter, and about 20 cents in one city.
The national average gasoline price rose by just over three cents to $1.58 per liter, according to the gas price tracking by the Civil Aviation Authority.
Christine Darbleis, Director of Public Affairs at the Civil Aviation Authority, said gasoline prices are driven by a number of factors including international issues, seasonality, supply and demand, and regional taxes.
