One of the candy companies in Ontario is looking to hire a "Chief Candy Officer" and this position could come with a six-figure salary.
Candy Funhouse, a Mississauga-based candy company, is hiring for a full-time position, which can be done remotely and pays up to $100,000 annually.
The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing new products, leading "Candy Council" meetings, and serving as the chief candy taster.
CEO Jamal Hijazi said in a statement released on Tuesday: "Here at Candy Funhouse, all we have is fun, and we'd better strategize our entertainment from a true candy fanatic."
The company says the job is not tied to age or traditional experience requirements. Anyone living in North America can apply, and no prior experience is needed, just a "love of candy."
However, Candy Funhouse requires that the successful applicant have no food allergies, as they will undergo "intensive training."
They also require candidates to speak fluent English. If employees choose to work in person instead of remotely, Candy Funhouse has two offices - one in Toronto, Ontario.
And one in Newark, New Jersey. Interested applicants must apply here by August 31.
