The Canadian Weather Network expects heavy snowfall and blizzards in areas of Ontario on Christmas Day, during the Christmas celebrations.

This weather may also cause flight delays, difficulty in travel, power outages, as well as difficulty or unclear visibility.

Also, the agency expected snowfall to reach 50 cm, with the Greater Toronto Area being most affected by this bad weather.

It is worth mentioning that the Canadian Environment Agency has issued a weather warning for the entire province, urging citizens not to travel except for necessity and to take the necessary precautions.

In addition, the agency added in its statement that the weather will generally be characterized by heavy snow and cold winds along with some scattered rains across the country.
