Canada recorded 561 new cases of the novel coronavirus, and two new virus-related deaths, in the past 24 hours, according to data from Johns Hopkins University in the United States today, Tuesday.
Thus, the total confirmed cases in the country rise to 4,368,845 cases, and deaths increased to 46,674.
Johns Hopkins data also showed today that 92,518,029 doses of coronavirus vaccines have been administered in Canada so far.
It is noted that the vaccine doses and the number of vaccinated populations are estimates based on the type of vaccine given by the country, i.e., whether it is one dose or two doses.
