The British newspaper "The Times" revealed that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson pressured to get a job for a young woman who claims he abused his power to have a sexual relationship with her.
It said that Johnson pressured, when he was Mayor of London and MP for Henley, to appoint her to a job at "City Hall" weeks after their meeting, but his effort failed because his colleague, the newly appointed Minister for the Cabinet Office, Kit Malthouse, said that it appeared they had an inappropriate close relationship.
Years later, Johnson admitted that he sought the job for her when confronted in his office in 2017 at the height of the #MeToo scandal.
This case is the latest example of Johnson using his political influence to pressure for women with whom he had undisclosed personal relationships.
Last month, it was reported that Johnson intervened to secure a position for his wife, Carrie Symonds (34 years old) as Chief of Staff at the Foreign Office while the two were in a romantic relationship in 2018. He also helped Jennifer Arcuri (37 years old) benefit from taxpayer-funded trips after their romantic relationship in 2011.
