Finally, the doors of the ski resort “Le Mont-Sainte-Anne” in Quebec have been opened, where skiers today feel happy after they were able to reach the slopes of Mont-Sainte-Anne, which was reopened on Sunday following the cable car crash incident, especially since the weather is good at this time.

However, it is still partially reopened because only four of the five cable cars received the green light to resume operations from the Régie du bâtiment du Québec.

According to the Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts management group (RCR), a procedural error occurred when the cable car fell. As reported by ski enthusiasts, the wait was long, and it will be necessary to invest in infrastructure, but they are generally happy to be back.

It is worth mentioning that the RCR group has faced severe criticism since the beginning of the events, especially due to the refusal of interviews. The management team explained that they realize this incident damaged the company's image and the image of Mont Sainte-Anne resort.

For his part, Maxime Croteau, Vice President and General Manager of the Eastern region at RCR, pointed out that investments are being made without specifying the nature of these investments or the amount of money involved. Mr. Croteau said: “Since the cable car crash on December 10, we have truly worked on rebuilding this trust bond, and the proof today is that we reopened the place.” He also added that the company worked with the best experts.

It should be noted that despite everything, organizations such as Les amis de la montagne du Mont-Sainte-Anne are demanding the departure of RCR.
