One person was killed and another injured in a shooting on a San Francisco subway train, according to city authorities.
Official Mirna Melgar pointed out that "the San Francisco Police Department informed her that the shooting occurred on the San Francisco Muni train between the Forest Hill and Castro stations," announcing that "the perpetrator quickly exited the train at Castro station and is still at large."
She revealed that "San Francisco Police Deputy Chief David Lazar informed her of a fight inside the train and that the suspect shot a person who later died," noting that "the train was crowded with morning passengers when the incident occurred."
She also announced that "subway service was suspended in the area while police gathered evidence."
