Hebrew media reported that a number of demonstrators who closed Ayalon Street in Tel Aviv were run over by a vehicle after the main demonstration on Kaplan Street ended.

A video documented a person running over several demonstrators closing the street, resulting in 5 injuries, one of whom was a young man (25 years old) whose condition was described as moderate, and he was taken to the hospital for treatment, while the others were described as having mild injuries.

The video also showed a violent scuffle between a number of Israeli demonstrators and police forces in central Tel Aviv, at a time when a vehicle sped up and ran over several protesters.

The police spokesman stated that security arrested a suspect who ran over several demonstrators on Ayalon Street.

For his part, Prime Minister Netanyahu's office issued a statement commenting on the incident, where he stated that the Prime Minister strongly condemns any form of violence and calls on everyone to exercise restraint, act responsibly, and respect the law.

Additionally, the areas where the protesters gathered witnessed scuffles due to the protesters blocking the main road, noting that the Israeli police began a campaign of violations amounting to 100 shekels (equivalent to 200 dollars) for each protester blocking the road.

Tens of thousands of people continued their demonstrations in various areas of Israel on Saturday, protesting against the controversial judicial reform plan for the 36th consecutive week.

The official Israeli Broadcasting Authority stated that tens of thousands participated in the central demonstration on Kaplan Street in downtown Tel Aviv against the judicial reform plan.

The Israeli police closed several main roads in Tel Aviv following the start of the demonstration.
