Toronto Police have opened an investigation after a man appeared at North York General Hospital this morning (Sunday) with a gunshot wound. The police said in a tweet on Twitter that the victim went to a hospital near Leslie Street and Sheppard Avenue East, and they confirmed that his injuries were serious. Officers were called to the hospital at 6:40 a.m., where a TPS media official told CP24: "It is unclear where the shooting actually took place, investigators are trying to verify the information to determine where and when the shooting actually occurred."
