Drivers in the Greater Toronto Area feel more comfortable at gas stations on Saturday with a new fuel price drop of seven cents.
This latest drop makes the fill-up cost 186.9 cents/liter at most GTA stations after an 11-cent drop on Friday.
The last fuel price drop was in May, and the lowest price this year was in February where the price was 161.9 cents/liter at most GTA stations.
In the same context, experts said that the drop in wholesale prices as well as the reduction of the gas tax in Ontario, which took effect on Friday, contribute to this saving.
En-Pro expects the price to remain for the rest of the weekend and any changes will appear on Monday.
