Canadian actor Robert Cormier, who appeared in programs such as "Heartland" and "American Gods," passed away at the age of 33. An employee at Ridley Funeral Home confirmed the death to CTV News Toronto but did not disclose the cause and declined to comment further.
According to an obituary on the funeral website, Cormier died on September 23, described as an athlete, actor, and a great brother. The obituary stated: "He had a passion for helping others and was always looking to achieve more, enjoyed movie nights with his family, and looked up to his father. Rob's memory will live on through his passion for art and cinema; as well as through his three sisters who mean the world to him."
In a tweet, the "Heartland" production team said Cormier was a "beloved member" of the team and will be greatly missed, having been part of the cast for the past two seasons of the show. The tweet read: "On behalf of the Heartland cast and crew, our thoughts are with him and his family during this difficult time." Cormier, born in Toronto, also appeared as a guest on the popular series "Ransom" and "Designated Survivor."
