The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, has issued a decision to remove frozen burger products from the M&M Food brand from the markets, due to the presence of undeclared ingredients on the ingredient label.
Canadian health authorities clarified that these products contain wheat and gluten without indicating them on the ingredient label, which may pose a serious risk to the health and safety of individuals who are allergic to these ingredients.
Below are the details related to the recalled food item:
The CFIA recommends that consumers do not use, sell, offer, or distribute the product, and it is advisable to dispose of it immediately or return it to the point of purchase.
Finally, the Ministry of Health has not yet reported any illnesses associated with the consumption of this product, and has emphasized the need to report any side effects, injuries, or other health and safety concerns related to the product.
