Personal items are still included in the airfare. Additionally, Sunwing considers wallets, handbags, messenger bags, briefcases, laptop bags, camera bags, and small backpacks as personal items. In the same context, the airline states that large backpacks and small bags are considered carry-on luggage. Furthermore, and strictly, the company states that carry-on items cannot exceed 11 pounds (5 kg). The airline mentioned that the adjustments to baggage fees aim to "support the continued low-cost company structure."
