Thomas Portes, the deputy from the ''Proud France'' party, filed a criminal complaint against 4,185 soldiers of French origin in the Israeli army, accusing them of complicity in crimes against humanity and war crimes in Gaza, indicating that the French judiciary is obliged to investigate the responsibility of the French fighters in the region for their actions that violate international and French law.
In a tweet on his account on the social media platform "X" yesterday, Saturday, December 23, 2023, Portes pointed to the extent of the crimes committed by the occupation army in Gaza and the West Bank.
The French opposition deputy also mentioned that he filed a criminal complaint to the public prosecutor against soldiers of French origin who are fighting in Gaza and the West Bank.
Portes posted a picture of the petition of the criminal complaint he sent to the public prosecutor, noting that there are 4,185 soldiers of French origin serving in the ranks of the Israeli army in the region.
Portes also pointed out that the French judiciary is obliged to investigate the responsibility of the French fighters in the region for their actions that violate international and French law.
