At least one person was killed and four others were injured in a shooting at a Walmart store in the state of Ohio, USA, on Monday evening.
The police in Beavercreek, Ohio, said in a statement that a man entered Walmart around 8:35 PM and started shooting, injuring four people. The victims were taken to local hospitals and their condition is unknown at this time.
The statement also added: "A fifth person, the shooter, died from wounds he apparently inflicted on himself, and no shots were fired by any police officers."
It was reported that the building has been "cleared and secured completely," confirming that "there is no active threat at this time."
A Walmart spokesperson also said in a statement: "We are deeply saddened by what happened at our store in Beavercreek, Ohio. The situation is still developing and we are working closely with investigators at the scene."
