Three Palestinian students were shot in the state of Vermont, USA, last Saturday evening, while the shooter is still at large.
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates issued a statement today, Sunday, condemning the shooting incident.
The statement said that the ministry "strongly condemns the heinous shooting crime that Hisham Aurtani, Tahseen Ahmed, and Kinan Abdul Hamid were subjected to while they were outside wearing the Palestinian keffiyeh and speaking Arabic, which led to them sustaining injuries ranging from severe to moderate."
The ministry also called on the relevant American authorities to "quickly arrest the criminal, detain him, investigate him, and hold him accountable."
