French President Emmanuel Macron announced on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, the dispatch of a French military ship to support hospitals in Gaza after a meeting with his Egyptian counterpart in Cairo.

Moreover, French President Emmanuel Macron confirmed on Wednesday in Cairo that "France does not practice a policy of double standards," emphasizing that "international law applies to everyone and France upholds universal human values."

Macron stated that "all human lives are equal and all victims deserve our compassion and our ongoing commitment to working towards a fair and lasting peace in the Middle East."
