As Canadian airports deal with their own set of problems amid the busy summer travel season, they are by no means alone.
One travel expert says that long lines, canceled flights, delays, and lost luggage are issues not only occurring at major airports in Canada but also in those in other countries.
Jennifer Weatherhead from the travelandstyle.ca website told CTV News Sunday: "We are seeing the same problems happening at all major airport hubs around the world."
Adding, "So Europe is facing a lot of these problems, and the United States is definitely facing a lot of these problems, not only with flight delays but also cancellations, because they say they sometimes don’t have enough pilots to handle these flights and move people from one place to another."
Explaining, "So this is a problem worldwide and not just in Canada, and we have to keep that in mind."
