The Toronto Fire Services and Toronto Police responded to a call reporting that a boat was on fire in Lake Ontario south of Bluffers Park in Scarborough.
The Toronto Fire Services told CP24.com that they received a phone call indicating that the fire broke out south of 39 South Marine Drive around 3:17 PM.
They also confirmed that the marine unit of the Toronto Police was dispatched along with a fireboat.
Toronto Police stated that the boat was approximately three kilometers from the shore.
Toronto Fire also added that there have been no reports of injuries so far and that the incident is still under investigation.
