Fans eager to see Justin Bieber at the concert tonight will have to change their entertainment plans.
The pop star was scheduled to perform at Scotiabank Arena in downtown Toronto on Tuesday and Wednesday evening, but he announced that those shows will now be postponed.
Bieber wrote on Instagram around 2 PM, "I can't believe I'm saying this, I've done everything to get better, but my illness is getting worse and I will have to postpone the upcoming shows under doctors' orders."
It is not clear exactly how many shows have been postponed. Bieber's Justice World Tour 2022 has been fully postponed twice before due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Bieber's name was trending on Twitter Tuesday afternoon and it seems many fans with tickets are not happy about the last-minute news.
Scotiabank Arena issued a statement on Twitter regarding current tickets, stating they will be rescheduled. The statements also added that Bieber's illness is not related to COVID-19.
