The latest poll conducted by the Nanos Institute for CTV and The Globe and Mail shows that the Liberal Party, led by Mark Carney, continues to lead over the Conservative Party, led by Pierre Poilievre, just under a week before the upcoming federal elections on April 28.

According to the results of the poll conducted between April 22 and 24, 2025, voter support was as follows:

  • Liberal Party: 42.7% (an increase of 0.1 points over 3 days)
  • Conservative Party: 38.4% (a notable increase of 1.3 points)
  • New Democratic Party (NDP): 8.3% (a significant decrease of 2.1 points)
  • Bloc Québécois (BQ): 5.9% (no change)
  • Green Party: 3.2% (a slight increase of 0.1 points)
  • People's Party of Canada (PPC): 1.4% (an increase of 0.6 points)

The latest results reflect a remarkable decline in support for the New Democratic Party after the gains it made following the debates, while the Conservatives regain some balance in voting intentions, but are unable to surpass the Liberals, who continue to advance steadily.

This data comes amid a heated electoral context, focusing on key issues such as the economy, immigration, public safety, and trade relations with the United States.
